Be a Heritage Hero by supporting Cromford Mills!

Every donation or purchase made at Cromford Mills will help our charity keep this amazing place standing.

As an independent charity this is a really challenging time for us as most of our income comes from visitors purchasing tickets, food and drink in our cafes, gifts in our shop and car parking.  With no visitors coming to the mills, we need your support more than ever!  We are doing everything we can to keep our charity going so we can continue to protect Cromford Mills for the future, and you can still support us in a variety of ways.

You can help us by:

  • Donating directly to the Arkwright Society by following the link at the bottom of this page to Virgin Money Giving.  Any amount of donation, however big or small, will help us to keep Cromford Mills standing.
  • Becoming an Arkwright Society Member.  Membership is a great way to support our charity both financially and with our education and audience engagement work.  Benefits include free car parking, exclusive events, free admission tickets and a discount in our shop, cafes and on certain events.  Find out more on the membership pages of our website.
  • Book for a future event.  You can still book for future events from the summer onwards, all of which are advertised on our events pages.
  • You can purchase gift vouchers which are redeemable in our shop, cafes and for Cromford Mill events; this income now will really help us in the future.  Just email events@arkwrightsociety.org.uk and request a £5 or £10 voucher and we'll organise the rest!
  • An annual pass for the Visitor Centre and guided tours can be purchased any time to use when we fully reopen again.
  • Support our retail tenants online whilst you can’t visit them in person.  ‘Weave Knit It’ has an online shop to buy a range of craft materials and you can book future courses, or if you’re looking for an unusual book to read during this time at home then visit the website for ‘Countryside Books’.  Online information about all of our retail tenants can be found here.
  • Raise funds for the Arkwright Society whilst you shop on-line.  On-line shopping via Give as you Live or Amazon Smile, with the Arkwright Society selected as you preferred beneficiary helps to raise funds with every purchase made, at no extra cost to you.  Go to https://www.giveasyoulive.com/join/thearkwrightsocietyltd, sign up for free, follow the instructions.  Go to www.smile.amazon.co.uk, select the Arkwright Society as your chosen charity.

Thank you for your support to look after Cromford Mills, both now and for the future.  With your help we can continue to protect this amazing place!
