Film & TV

Cromford Mills is an ideal backdrop for film and tv and we have hosted a variety of productions and film shoots in recent years.

A great location for features about the industrial revolution we have recently featured in ‘Pubs, Ponds and Power – The Story of the Village’ on BBC Four, ‘Monkman and Seagull’s Genius Adventures’ on BBC Two and ‘Antiques Road Trip’ on BBC One.

Any filming or photography undertaken at Cromford Mills or our wider estate, including the Lumsdale Valley, must be agreed and authorised by the Arkwright Society prior to use.  Prices will be given on request.  Quotations will vary depending on locations required and the length and timing of the shoot.  Our amazing team of onsite experts can also be available to assist with filming needs, both on and off camera.  All money raised from filming goes back into the preservation of our sites to ensure their future survival.
