Welcome Back to Cromford Mills! We Are Open Daily from 10am to 4pm. Audio tours are available, the Visitor Centre and Arkwright Experience will be opening soon. The Lumsdale Valley site remains closed to public access.

Sir Richard Arkwright's Cromford Mills

Cromford Mills is the home of Sir Richard Arkwright’s first mill complex, birthplace of the modern factory system and internationally recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Located in the heart of the Derbyshire Dales, Cromford Mills is accessible by local public transport. Pay and display parking is also available on site.
