Sir Richard Arkwright's Cromford Mills

Cromford Mills is the home of Sir Richard Arkwright’s first mill complex, birthplace of the modern factory system and internationally recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Current Opening Times

Public Tours and The Arkwright Experience open daily. Booking required.

The Mill Yard, Mill Shop and Cafés are free to explore between 10am and 5pm daily.

Located in the heart of the Derbyshire Dales, Cromford Mills is accessible by local public transport. Pay and display parking is also available on site.
