Sir Richard Arkwright's Cromford Mills

Cromford Mills is the home of Sir Richard Arkwright’s first mill complex, birthplace of the modern factory system and internationally recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Current Opening Times

Visitor Centre: 11am - 4.30pm

Public Tours: 11am, 1pm and 2.30pm

The Mill Yard, Mill Shop and both Cafés are free to explore between 9am and 5pm daily.

Getting Here

Located in the heart of the Derbyshire Dales, Cromford Mills is accessible by local public transport. Pay and display parking is also available on site.
