Cromford Mills remains a free-to-visit site. As a charity, we rely on donations to fulfil our vital objectives in preservation, storytelling, and providing employment and training.
Last year, our education programme reached more than 3,000 learners, building understanding of Cromford Mills and inspiring pride of place among young people – an important boost to wellbeing.
We also welcomed almost a quarter of a million visitors, sustained 160 jobs, and generated £7.4 million for the local economy, carrying forward the innovative and entrepreneurial spirit of Sir Richard Arkwright.
