The shop specialises in local artisan cheeses, including the full range produced by Hartington Creamery, notably their award-winning Stilton and the exclusive Dovedale Blue, which can only be made using milk from cows within 12 miles of Dovedale.  With over 40 varieties of cheese to choose from to suit all tastes, including a selection of vegan cheeses.

The shop also stocks a wide range of other locally produced food and drink, including biscuits, chutneys, preserves, honey, pies, eggs, milk and butter. Drinks include beers, cider, soft drinks and local gin.  Hampers featuring a selection of goodies are also available to order.
