We are raising money for a new film in the Arkwright Experience to bring more of the history of this amazing valley to life!
The Arkwright Experience has been a huge success, but we have so many more stories we want to tell, and our visitors have given us lots of feedback on what they would like us to include in the new show. The new film will introduce the audience to Arkwright’s partner and neighbour, Jedidiah Strutt, and will highlight the coming together of these two innovative individuals, alongside the mill workers who will tell their version of the story. The new film will be a great addition to the visitor experience at Cromford Mills and encourage everyone to explore the wider Derwent Valley.
We have applied to the AIM Biffa Award – History Makers programme for over £60,000 to create a new film show and need to raise £5000 ourselves if we are successful with our application. Please help us to raise the contribution by donating whatever you can towards a fantastic new visitor experience! If you are willing to pledge over £100 to this cause, then we will include your name on the credits of the film to recognise your contribution.
You can donate online by following the link: www.cromfordmills.org.uk/donate or by getting in touch with Hannah Steggles, Head of Heritage, directly to find out more about the project on firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you very much for your support.
