Lessons, engaging projects and new developments all thanks to the National Lottery Heritage Fund and our amazing team of staff and volunteers.
As our two National Lottery Heritage Fund projects draw to a close, we’re taking this opportunity to celebrate the remarkable contributions of our staff and volunteers — the people at the heart of everything we do. Over the past two years, we’ve received £499,478 in funding, which has been crucial to The Arkwright Society and Cromford Mills’ post-Covid recovery and long-term sustainability. Thanks to this support, we’ve achieved significant progress in areas such as outreach, volunteering, strategic planning, infrastructure upgrades, digital innovation, deeper community engagement, and enhanced learning and support for our team.
Through it all, we’ve gained a much deeper understanding of what resilience looks like in practice and a renewed appreciation for the dedication and passion of those who keep this historic site thriving. Thank you to the National Lottery Heritage Fund, and the National Lottery players who make all this possible.
