Develop your photography skills and learn the art of shooting history with Helen Chester.
As part of our Art and Craft programme, this workshop will explore making photographic art in an historical setting. After a brief introduction, we will go to the beautiful Georgian church of St. Mary’s to make some pictures and then you will be shown around the mill site, the canal wharf and the surrounding area and have some free time to explore. We will then re-convene to share and discuss some of the images you have made.
Please bring your camera with a spare battery and memory card. If you have them, also bring a tripod and a laptop.
Tea and coffee will be provided.
Start time: 10am
