Cromford Village

Join us in celebrating Cromford as it is today.

Entertainment and fun for all ages in this historic village. Come to Cromford Mills to discover how Sir Richard Arkwright’s influence shaped the local community and its history.

ECS Singers – Everyone can sing - are coming to Cromford Mills on June 15th on the ‘Singing Train’ from Nottingham. In collaboration with East Midlands Trains and the Arkwright Society, we will be singing between 12-3pm.

We have been singing for 2 years and enjoy singing popular songs in public. We have a wide repertoire from musicals, pop and contemporary songs and folk music. We encourage our audiences to participate and we look forward to a sing-song on the train and at Cromford.

We are an inclusive singing group and work hard to support charities including Memory Cafes (Alzheimer’s Society) Autism East Midlands and DKMS (we delete blood cancer)

We believe everybody can sing and enjoy the emotional and social benefits of singing in a group.  Under the musical leadership of Simon Thompson, we hope you enjoy our performance. Welcome!
