Come and join us in the Education room to have a go at making a working waterwheel out of Lego – and then test it! You’ll need all your creativity and engineering skills to build a structure that carries water to and away from a perfectly positioned waterwheel. Learn about breastshot, overshot and undershot wheels, and see which one works best.
Suitable for 5+. All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. At busy times, you may need to wait for a lego kit to become available.
Suggested donation £5 per family. Every penny we raise goes straight back into the conservational and educational work of the Arkwright Society. All ages welcome, but children must be accompanied by an adult. One building kit per family, first come first served. We will have two building sessions, please arrive at either 1pm or 2pm.
Workshop available on Thursday 1st June, Session One is at 1-1.50pm and Session Two is at 2-2.50pm,
