The train has direct links to Matlock, Derby, Nottingham and Newark; regular Buses go through Cromford to Matlock, Bakewell, Derby and Manchester; and the A6 is a beautiful commute whatever the season.
The Cromford Canal and River Derwent border Cromford Mills and offer pleasant lunchtime strolls or evening fitness routes. We encourage people to commute here by bike and there are several local routes for anyone who likes to ride off road.
