Cromford Mills Story
Discover more about Cromford Mills, dress up in mill workers outfits, or be part of a portrait as one of the mill owners family in our activity room “The Cromford Mills Story”. Visitors can also gain an understanding of how waterwheels work, and see a model of how the site once looked. New activities are being introduced all of the time so don’t miss out.
Disabled toilets are located in the Gateway with full wheelchair access throughout the Visitor Centre, shop and Arkwright Experience.
Dogs on leads are welcome in the Gateway, shop area and Cromford Mills Story, but are not permitted to go into the Arkwright Experience as the show contains flashing lights and loud sounds. Assistant dogs are allowed everywhere on site.
