Chris is a Partner and Chartered Surveyor with Boxall Brown & Jones in Derby and member of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA) and a Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA). He has been appointed by the Judicial Appointments Commission as a Valuer Member in the First Tier Tribunal Service (Property Chamber) and serves as a Presiding Magistrate on the Southern Derbyshire Criminal Courts.
Chris became the Deputy Under Sheriff of Derbyshire in 2024 and supports the High Sheriff in judicial and civic duties. Aswell as his role as a trustee at The Arkwright Society, he is a Trustee of Foundation Derbyshire which is a brilliant charity managing donated funds and effectively distributing grants to the country’s grassroot charities / community groups.
Chris is a keen sailor and lives in Derbyshire with his wife and two daughters.
