1771 Music Festival at Cromford Mills

The 8th, 9th & 10th July 2022 sees the first ever 1771 Festival – Derbyshire’s newest open-air event that celebrates an eclectic mix of musical genres.

The inaugural 1771 Festival is an assortment of live acts across three days in the historic yard at Cromford Mills.

Free entry daytime gigs combined with headline evening shows will deliver a fantastic shuffle of music in a truly unique setting.

With an incredible line-up of sounds from electronic to skiffle, we are bringing Derbyshire an unforgettable weekend of live entertainment, food and drink.

Headline gigs on Friday 8th and Saturday 9th of July, boast fantastic line-ups including:
Stereo MCs, The Boo Radleys, Tony Wright (Terrorvision), Mark Radcliffe’s UNE, The Bar Steward Sons of Val Doonican, Please Y’self Skiffle Band, The In Here Brothers and Brew Droop.

See bands and artists you already love and discover a newfound passion for music you’ve yet to experience. Some festivals have a great line up and others the perfect location. 1771 aims to combine the two to create a one-off atmosphere.

Don’t miss a great selection of local food vendors and plenty of quality craft ale provided by Booze hound from Two Dales in Matlock.

From 12pm on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th of July, all visitors to Cromford Mills can enjoy great sounds from a line-up of local artists performing between 12pm to 4pm.

Unlike festivals that feature the same type of music all weekend, this unique festival promises old-school rock, indie, electro, reggae, parody and so much more to keep you singing and dancing all night long.

There are a limited number of early release tickets for the evening shows on Friday 8th and Saturday 9th of July – so book early to avoid disappointment.
